Metro Police Central Jakarta increase patrol security and public order (kamtibmas) ahead of the celebration Christmas And New year 2025.
“We will continue to increase our appeal to the public, considering that we have started to enter the Nataru holiday period (Christmas and New Year),” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief AKB Wirdhanto Hadicaksono at SDN 09 Kebon Kosong, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (11/12 ).
Wirdhanto said that the appeal contained a message to look after your belongings and make sure your house is locked when you leave the house.
“Maintain the security of the house so that when you leave it, it doesn’t cause a fire, and also don’t let unwanted things happen, such as crimes and so on,” said Wirdhanto.
Apart from that, his party will also prepare security and public order patrols (Kamtibmas) in collaboration with TNI ranks and the three pillars to guard the homes of residents who will be leaving for their homecoming.
“Christmas and New Year operations will be carried out starting December 24. We, together with the TNI and regional government, will carry out Operation Lilin Jaya,” he said.
Wirdhanto said that his party would also regulate and check vehicle services such as storing vehicles that are suitable for parking and whose security is maintained.
“Including, of course, other services, such as parking for vehicle storage and so on. We are ready to serve the community for free,” he said.
Regarding the use of fireworks, he reminded the public that these fireworks have standard operating procedures (SOP) that must be adhered to for mutual safety. “With the existing SOP, plus the size, later on the size aspect issue we will carry out raids,” he said. (Ant/J-2)
