“The potential for EBT in Indonesia is very large, but utilization is only 0.3%. Developments in manufacturing and automation technology open up opportunities to increase the efficiency and performance of EBT power plants, but there are still many challenges that must be faced,” said Dede.
He explained that several challenges to this development include low electricity generation efficiency, dependence on expensive materials, not being environmentally friendly regarding land clearing and infrastructure development, and high initial investment costs.
Then, the challenges faced in manufacturing and automation technology innovation in supporting the development of power plants are hybrid power plants which combine the role of manufacturing and automation technology in the development of NRE power plants, solar power plants with hydropower and wind power, as well as clean and clean production methods. environmentally friendly.
“By utilizing natural materials (green materials) that are easily recycled, integrating manufacturing technology by utilizing artificial intelligence in selecting optimal process parameters can reduce operational costs and increase the efficiency of generating EBT electrical energy,” he concluded.
