Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bependa) of Cianjur Regency, Cicih Permasih, said that next year’s regional tax revenue target will increase quite significantly compared to 2024. The increase was made because new types of taxes have begun to be implemented, namely motor vehicle tax (PKB) and motor vehicle title transfer fee (BBNKB). with the potential to reach IDR 131 billion.
“The potential revenue from this opsen tax is projected to be quite large. Therefore, next year’s regional tax revenue target in Cianjur is targeted at around IDR 423 billion,” said Cicih accompanied by Secretary of the Cianjur Regency Bapenda Ardian Athoillah, Wednesday (11/12).
With the addition of this new type of tax, he continued, Bapenda began to focus on strengthening collaboration. Especially with various related agencies.
“Our focus next year is strengthening collaboration with related agencies, apart from what is currently underway. This is because next year there will be a new type of tax in the form of PKB and BBNKB opsen as of January 1 2025,” he said.
Cicih said that one of the strengthening collaborations was with the West Java Province Bapenda. Also with the police and PT Jasa Raharja.
“God willing, we are optimistic that this target can be achieved,” he said.
Another thing that is the focus of the Cianjur Regency Bapenda is updating and improving tax data. The reason is that tax data is dynamic, so it is deemed necessary to update it.
“In several sectors, especially the PBB, we have carried out data collection or updated building data in several housing complexes. We have also carried out assessments of special objects such as factories, hospitals and others this year which will be determined next year. So, this is done to increase the potential ,” he explained.
So far, in Cianjur Regency there are 11 regional tax sectors. This year, the regional tax target is set at IDR 278 billion after the changes.
As of the first week of December this year, the accumulated achievement of revenue realization from 11 tax sectors was more than 95%. “God willing, the target can be achieved before the end of the year. Approximately in the second or third week the overall target can be achieved,” concluded Cicih.
