POLITICIAN from the Nasdem Party who is currently Chairman of Commission VII DPR RI, namely Sugeng Suparwoto received an award from Berlian Organizer as one of the outstanding figures in Central Java 2024.
Secretary of the organizing committee, Stefy Thenu, told the press in Semarang, Saturday (14/12) that the Nasdem Party politician was chosen because he was considered successful in contributing to development, especially southern Central Java.
Apart from political figures, said Stefy, who is also a journalist for Suaraupdate, she gave awards to parties who have made major contributions in their respective fields for the progress and prosperity of Central Java.
“The tenacity and tenacity of the struggle of these figures has provided motivation, inspiration and role models for society. Apart from achieving, they also have character worth emulating,” said Stefy.
According to him, the 2024 Central Java Achievement Figure award is given as a form of appreciation and appreciation for public figures from various elements, who are considered to be outstanding, meritorious and have made a major contribution to the development and welfare of the people of Central Java.
It is hoped that it can stimulate the spirit of the recipients to take more part and contribute to society.
Apart from Sugeng, other figures who received the award, for Figures of Achievement in the Field of Bureaucracy and Government, were the Acting Regent of Pati Sujarwanto Dwiatmoko and the Elected Regent of Pemalang Anom Widiyantoro.
Three university rectors in Central Java were selected to receive the Figure of Achievement award in the field of education. They are the Chancellor of the Muhammadiyah University of Semarang (Unimus) Prof. Masrukhi, Chair of STIE Bank BPD Jateng Prof. Taofik Hidajat and the Chancellor of Stikubank University Elen Puspitasari.
Awards were also given to Achievement Figures in the Field of Entrepreneurship and Culture, namely Pawoko, a Jepara Community Figure who is also the Owner of Jepara Modern Art & Gallery.
The Figure of Achievement Award in the Field of Public Service, was given to the Operational Director of PT. KAI Tourism, Wawan Ariyanto. Meanwhile, the Figure for Achievement in the Social and Community Sector fell to Abdul Khalim, who is the General Chair of the Pemalang Community Association (IKMAL).
The award will be given at Wisma Peace, Tuesday (17/12) at 19.00 WIB (N-2).
