It must be noted, yet again, that Me Three will be in Boston next week, giving you readers a bunch of stories from within the Democratic Convention.  Mark Grueter and Chris Fara1 are on it.  And believe me, they're ready.

Actual excerpt from a letter The New Yorker sent me because I kept forgetting to send in the check for my subscription:

...If we don't receive your payment by return mail, we must suspend service of your issues. 

We don't want to do that.  I'm sure you don't want us to.  Each week, we've been sending you a fresh, bright, new issue of The New Yorker, packed with stimulating articles, captivating stories, a [sic] special sophisticated humor you won't find anywhere else.  Without it, chances are your life (and you) wouldn't be quite as interesting any more.

But that's up to you, S. Stodola.

Unbelievable.  But yes, I finally did send in my check.
