2.1.05 Tuesday
is Scandal Day: The Introduction It’s no secret at this point that the Bush Administration has employed some, shall we say, dubious tactics over the past four years. It’s not even arguable anymore whether or not they lied to the public about their reasons for invading Iraq. And sadly, this fact is just one of many reprehensible misdeeds committed by the administration. There
are so many of them that one begins to lose track. It’s not until
they are all presented together, in one place, that their extent begins
to come clear. Salon So, because we here at Me Three think it’s important to keep folks aware of all the wrongs committed by the Bush camp, we have decided to turn Tuesday into Scandal Day for the next 34 weeks. That’s right: every Tuesday we will be highlighting one scandal from Salon’s list. And yes, we need contributors for this little project. So if you’d like to pick a scandal and do some research and report back to us, we’d love to take you on as a “Scandal Hawk.” Just email us at sstodola @ methree dot net. You can be as serious as you want or as snarky as you want, as long as you expose the scandal! And also, we’d like to thank Peter Dizikes at Salon for compiling the list in the first place. Here's a little taste of what you have to look forward to:
Now, let’s all gear up for next week and Scandal Number One: Memogate: The Senate Computer Theft. The more we know about these scandals, the more we can do to hold the administration accountable for them. Many of them are still under investigation, so public outcry of any kind may end up influencing verdicts. They say the liberals don't do anything. Let's show them how wrong they are, whoever "they" may be! --------------------------------------- ©
