The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has officially determined the Provincial Sectoral Minimum Wage (UMSP) for DKI Jakarta Province for 2025. The UMSP determination is based on Governor Decree Number 832 of 2024 concerning the 2025 Provincial Sectoral Minimum Wage on December 12 2024, which was signed by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Manpower, Transmigration and Energy (DTKTE) Service, Hari Nugroho, explained that this decision was taken based on recommendations from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Wage Council which had agreed on certain sectors and the amount of the 2025 DKI Jakarta UMSP.
This decision is also in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 16 of 2024 concerning Determination of Minimum Wages for 2025.
“This is a joint effort to maintain the economy in Jakarta. “Based on the agreement of members of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Wage Council, the 2025 DKI Jakarta UMSP value refers to the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) which consists of 3 sectors and 18 sub-sectors, ranging from processing industry to financial services,” explained Hari, in Jakarta, on Sunday (15/12).
The details of the UMSP amount for DKI Jakarta in 2025 based on sectors and sub-sectors are as follows:
A. Processing Industry
1. Weaving Industry (Export and Non-MSME): IDR 5,531,680
2. Knitted Apparel Industry (Export and Non-MSME): IDR 5,531,680
3. Apparel Industry from Textiles and Equipment (Export and Non-MSME): IDR 5,531,680
4. Footwear Industry for Daily Use (Export and Non-MSME): IDR 5,531,680
5. Basic Organic Chemical Industry with Production: Sulfuric Acid, Oleum, Sodium Silicate (Water Glass), Aluminum Sulfate, and Fatty Acid: Rp. 5,504,696
6. Other Basic Organic Chemical Industries: Rp. 5,504,696
7. Inorganic Basic Chemical Industry Industrial Gas with Production: Argon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Acetylene and Carbon Dioxide: IDR 5,504,696
8. Soap and Cleaning Materials Industry for Household Uses Including Toothpaste: Rp. 5,504,696
9. Glue Adhesive Industry: Rp. 5,504,696
10. Dye/Pigment, Paint, Ink, Coloring Substance and the Like Industry: IDR 5,504,696

2. Sharia Banks with assets above 1 Trillion and Non-MSMEs: IDR 5,531,680
“This minimum wage increase is in line with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s commitment to maintaining the purchasing power of workers/laborers and business competitiveness. “With this agreed amount, it is hoped that it can be accepted by all parties while supporting the realization of Jakarta as a global city,” said Hari.
Hari added, apart from setting the UMSP, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also reminded employers of the obligation to develop a wage structure and scale in the company as a guideline for workers/laborers with a work period of one year or more. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will carry out supervision and impose sanctions on entrepreneurs who do not comply with these obligations.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also continues to provide policies to improve workers’ welfare from a non-wage perspective.
This policy is given to workers/laborers who have a Jakarta Worker Card (KPJ) who have met certain criteria, namely having a DKI Jakarta Provincial Identity Card (KTP) with a maximum salary of 1.15 times the UMP, as well as other criteria in accordance with statutory regulations. invitation.
