Corruption Eradication Commission INVESTIGATORS (Corruption Eradication Commission) searched a number of locations in the building Bank Indonesia (BI). One of them is the Workspace BI Governor Perry Warjiyo.
“We searched several rooms, including the BI governor’s room,” said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Rudi Setiawan at the KPK Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday (17/12).
Rudi said investigators confiscated a number of documents from Perry’s office. However, he did not specify the types of files confiscated. “We are looking for evidence in the form of documents and other things related to our allegations,” said Rudi.
He was reluctant to detail other locations visited by investigators. The search was related to a suspected corruption case in the form of CSR funds at BI.
A number of parties will be summoned to investigate this matter. Rudi was reluctant to specify the names of those who would be questioned after the search.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) confirmed that the alleged corruption case at BI had moved to the investigation stage. However, the investigation warrant (sprindik) is still general in nature. (P-5)
